My cousin recently moved to the area and was looking for some good pizza, so we decided to order from Cafe Pizzaiolo through DoorDash. We were so satisfied with the first pizza that we wanted to order another one. Since the restaurant was about 15 minutes from closing and we could no longer order through the app, we called it in and picked it up ourselves. When I walked in, the restaurant felt very welcoming. While I waited off to the side, one of the staff members kindly checked to see whether I needed anything. The service was friendly, and the pizza was amazing—so good that we ordered a second one the same night. We will definitely be ordering from here again!

This restaurant got Italian name but is not near Italian food, culture or services. The pizza we had was greasy, the service is horrible and the lady who served us looks like she came straight out of jail. Not friendly at all. I don't even know what they are do in Alexandria. We oder two drinks, one pizza and and lasagna. The lasagna came 2 minutes after I order, that means for the price we paid it was not fresh cooked and the pizza took 25 min .We had also Caesar salad which came with out the cream sauces just dry. After we complain about it the manger came and said this is how they do the Caesar salad. What a disappointment. How come everyone in this place is so ignorant? Just my opinion don't eat in this place unless you don't have any choice.... 😂 You never know how they prepared the food.

Other food was good but this was the worst gluten-free pizza i could imagine - crust was burned, covered with uncooked flour and literally hard as cardboard all around.

What a pleasant surprise! Took a stroll to get a late breakfast while getting our car worked on nearby and just decided to pop in. At 10:30 am, even though they had a breakfast menu, my husband decided he wanted lasagna, so I thought what the heck, I'll get a lunch/dinner item too. What a treat! We had their bruschetta to start (WOW!) I had the Chicken Milanese and we finished off our food adventure with a yummy gelato! Food was amazing and the service from Isabel was top notch too. Isabel is very sweet and personable and has worked there for four years. That's a tribute to the restaurant and management for sure! Huge portions and very reasonable prices. I wish we lived closer, or we'd be regulars for sure! Keep up the great work Pizzaiolos! PS: thk u for being environmentally friendly with your carryout packaging 🫶

Food is good sometimes the service is disorganized and it can take a long time to get food or the order is wrong. That said the pasta and sandwiches are good. The smoked chicken with pesto really is superb. The pizza is also available. There is a good bar with a selection of microbrews, wine and liquor.
